Christopher Reinelt, 37 passed away unexpectedly April 12, 2024.
He was born January 7, 1987 son of Martin Reinelt and Christine Devies, Christopher spent his childhood in Lake City Pennsylvania frequenting the creeks and woods near his home curious about all that surrounded him. He had such a thirst for knowledge and shared that wealth with anyone he met. He quickly became an expert in his passions from reptiles and wildlife to wild plants and anything else that he found fascinating. He grew into a freed spirit , barefoot and at home in nature.
He passed on the traditions to his son and will not soon be forgotten. Opening day of trout seasons at Gloskys, paddling down the water ways of Conneaut creek and a strong suit in wrestling to name a few. Christopher loved to share a story and a meal with those he loved and the many he met along the way. Owner and operator of Conneaut Creek Boat Rental.
Summers took on a life of their own filled with camping, a bustling business and music. Grateful Dead was amongst his favorites. Skilled in construction, his mind was full of innovative perspectives. Christopher often extended messages of love, sometimes tough love. He cherished his time with his family and was a proud father and husband.
His huge heart was something he put up front and rarely hid his feelings. Those who knew him well and strangers alike knew he was as he appeared. Driven, kind, loving, and stubborn.
He will be greatly missed and is survived by: His Mother and Father; Wife Kathryn (Felegie) Reinelt Married November 23rd, 2020; Son Cooper Reinelt; Step son Dylan Kuffer and Step daughter Kayla Kuffer; Brothers; Stephen Reinelt and Matthew Reinelt; Sister Stephanie Williams and brother in-law Malik Williams; Aunt Kellea Wilson as well as extended family.
